Media Arts Literary was
founded over five years ago in 2002, and is one of a number of
companies owned by Gini Graham Scott, Ph.D., J.D., who has published
over 50 books and has worked with dozens of clients on writing
proposals, books, articles, film scripts, TV series proposals,
advertising copy, and other materials.
Gini Scott brings a broad
background in writing, marketing, promotion, and business
development to Media Arts Literary. She is a nationally known writer,
organizational/business consultant, speaker, and seminar/ workshop
leader, who has founded a number of companies, including Changemakers, involved in product development, promotion, and
licensing,
Creative Communications & Research, involved in various types of
writing and research;
Changemakers Production, involved in
screenplay writing
and film production, and
Behavior Research
Associates, involved in social and ethnographic research.
She is also the founder of several services which involved in making

As a game and toy designer,
Scott has had over two dozen games with major game companies,
including Hasbro, Pressman, and Mag-Nif. She recently licensed
two new games to Briarpatch, which were introduced at the American Toy
Fair in New York in 2007. She has consulted with
dozens of clients about designing and marketing games, and has
recently spoken on licensing at the American Toy Fair and GAMA.
Scott has received national
media exposure for her books (including appearances on Oprah, Montel
Williams, CNN, and the O'Reilly Factor). She hosted a weekly radio
talk show series, CHANGEMAKERS, featuring interviews on various
topics, aired from 1991 to 1993 to 1 million listeners in over 70
countries.
She received a Ph.D. in
Sociology from the University of California in Berkeley, a
J.D. from
the University of San Francisco Law School, and M.A.s in
Anthropology, Popular Culture and lifestyules, and Mass Communications and Organizational, Consumer, and Audience
Behavior Cal State University, East Bay.
