Here's a brief bio of Gini Graham Scott:
She has published over 35 books on diverse subjects. Her most recent sale is DO YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR DOG? to Broadway Books, a division of Random House. Her books on organizational behavior, conflict resolution, and creativity include: WORK IT RIGHT! (AMACOM 2003), WORK WITH ME! RESOLVING EVERYDAY CONFLICT IN YOUR ORGANIZATION (Davies-Black 2000), RESOLVING CONFLICT (New Harbinger 1990), COMPLETE IDIOT’S GUIDE TO SHAMANISM (Alpha Books 2002), THE EMPOWERED MIND (Prentice Hall 1993), MIND POWER (Prentice Hall 1987), and THE CREATIVE TRAVELER (Tudor 1989). Her books on pop culture include: HOMICIDE: 100 YEARS OF MURDER IN AMERICA (Contemporary 1998), CAN WE TALK? THE POWER AND INFLUENCE OF TALK SHOWS (Plenum 1996), MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS: THE BATTLE FOR PERSONAL PRIVACY (Plenum 1995), THE TRUTH ABOUT LYING (Smart Publications 1994), and PRIVATE EYES (Paladin 1994, with Sam Brown).
Her screenplays include RICH AND DEAD, DEAD BEAT, THE PARKING LOT, WILD CHILD, BRINGING GRANDMA BACK, and BRAIN SWAP. RICH AND DEAD is planned for production in 2003 by Liv ‘N’ Luv Productions. BRAIN SWAP is being produced by Gray Fox Films.
Scott has received national media exposure for her books (including Oprah, CNN, and the O'Reilly Factor). She has a Ph.D. in Sociology from U.C. Berkeley, a J.D. from the University of San Francisco Law School, and expects an MA in Anthropology at Cal State, Hayward in 2003.
Scott is also the founder of the DO YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR DOG? competition and Web site, as well as Co-Executive Producer of Do You Look Like Your Dog, the Game and Reality TV Show. She is now seeking photos both for the book to be published by Broadway in January 2004 and for the competition and reality show. The photo deadline for the book is June 1 and for the contest and reality show December 1. She is also lining up sponsors for projects related to the Web site, including a TV show, calendars, posters and other Do You Look Like Your Dog designs.
